It is a great tale! As someone from the Philippines, cultural exchange is indeed a great help in knowing my Asean brothers and sisters :D

Frank Smith has a video on his site of a fortune teller in Phnom Penh telling the story (in Khmer).  It gets pretty intense and is well worth checking out too.
