    Last night the projection was great. Even our seats were not reserved but there were some site available and Rithy Panh was there. It’s a nice movie …

    There was a theater but it was not really a theater because it was burn by an accident. The theater was abandoned but not really abandoned because some artistes still living there. They performed their play in the burn theater without any spectators. They need to do the performance from time to time to keep the theater alive. That is what they can do. They did not go anywhere. This is their place. This is where they believed they belong.

    Everyday, each morning they are waiting for an event … but how long do they need to wait? It has been 10 years that none of event come to save the theater. What will those artists become if no one comes?

    Rithy Panh created a beautiful and sad documentary “Artistes of the burn theater� to ask all those questions. Is there an answer? No. The movie did not tell any answer but for sure everyone can do something about this once they find the answer.

    I like the movie a lot. I prefer his last one than any movies that have been made previously. He added in the movie some humors that can make us relax after some terrible scenes that contain the deathly sadness. Personally the movie is quiet difference from the others.
