According to this morning's Cambodia Daily, the PM has asked that these wax figures in the Cambodia Cultural Village be removed. Before the UNTAC soldier and companion graced the cover of the Bayon Pearnik, and many a tourist's photo album, Jinja was there.

Painted signboards are still in use in Cambodia today, and during the more austere socialist era of the 1980s, they were one of the more effective tools for public media.
