Claire Dard-Ternisien est titulaire d¹un DEUG de Sciences (Biologie Chimie), d¹une maîtrise d¹Histoire de l¹Art et a suivi les cours des ateliers des Beaux-Arts. Elle termine cette année son cursus de Conservateur – Restaurateur du Patrimoine à l¹Institut National du Patrimoine (section restauration) et s¹est spécialisée dans la restauration des sculptures.
À l¹occasion de l¹achèvement du stage de fin de cycle qu¹elle a effectué au Musée National de Phnom Penh et à Angkor Vat avec le GACP (German Apsara Conservation Project), Claire Dard-Ternisien exposera divers aspects de la restauration des bois polychromes (approche technique et historique préalable, procédés de mise en ¦uvre et traitementsŠ) à travers la présentation de plusieurs exemples d¹¦uvres qu¹elle a traitées dans le cadre de l¹Institut National du Patrimoine. Elle abordera aussi certaines spécificités des techniques de polychromies en Asie et leurs problèmes inhérents.
Claire Dard-Ternisien have a licence in Sciences (Biology Chemistry) a Master in Art History and attended the School of Fine Arts workshops. She is completing the Heritage National Institute curriculum at the conservation department, specialised in sculptures restoration.
On the term of the final year field training she realised at the National Museum of Phnom Penh and at Angkor Vat with the GACP (German Apsara Conservation Project), Claire Dard-Ternisien will present various aspects of the conservation and restoration of polychromatic wooden sculptures (technical and historical preliminary studies, technical processŠ) with several examples she worked on at the Heritage National Institute. She will also tackle some singularities of polychromatic techniques in Asia and their related problems.
La présentation se tiendra à 18 h 30, vendredi 23 août, dans la bibliothèque de l’EFEO.
The presentation will take place August 23rd, at 6:30 pm in the EFEO library.
Presentation will be in French ; English translation will be available.
