Hot season: flames everywhere
Took a few minutes at lunchtime to see the remnants of the ‘Flames of Peace’ ceremony, where they burn AK-47s in a big heap. The project aims to reduce the tremendous number of firearms floating around in this ‘post-conflict country’.
A steaming hot day – on the way, back, my bike caught on fire! Old wiring and an electrical short circuit made for a little excitement. Some minor repairs and it’s back in action.
