Something for Everyone

By sheer coincidence, Take Back the Tech and the 3rd Mekong Performing Arts Laboratory are starting on the same day, addressing gender-related violence via the web and drama, respectively. And we have the races of Water Festival concluding with Loy Pratip in Phnom Penh!
Meanwhile, in Siem Reap, the Angkor Photo Festival continues with an opening at Hotel de la Paix.
(Busy times! I’ll do my best to keep you posted on what I see from where I’m at.)

Wow, what a week that will be in Phnom Penh. I’m sort of surprised that the Angkor Photo Festival will be at the Hotel de la Paix – a very swanky over the top place – but I guess it will be a nice space to exhibit imagery. Would be nice to see it somewhere more “local” in the future. Are you going to all these events?
