How does radiocarbon dating work, how accurate is it, how do you select samples and interpret the results? Prof Mike Barbetti will answer didactically to these questions and present some recent results of radiocarbon dating in Angkor.

Prof Mike Barbetti is a renowned specialist of radiocarbon dating, with 30 years of experience in South east Asia. He is the Director of the NWG Macintosh Centre for Quaternary Dating at the University of Sydney, Australia.

The presentation will take place January 17, at 6:30 pm in the EFEO library.
