Franco –Phony:
Taking French over at Centre Cuturel Français. A lot of words that had sailed over my head are beginning to click. Doing much better with reading than writing, the class is very welcome for its practice of francophonie. But at the same time, it adds an additional level of complexity to my schedule.
Somehow missing a dayÂ’s homework isnÂ’t the same as missing a grant pitch or deadline. But I canÂ’t help but worry as the clock rolls around to class time. Guess I just want to keep everyone happy. And as a former teacher I canÂ’t help but to want to follow the advice I give my students: study every day.
